Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Arabic-speaking accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting within an educational institution, excellent communication skills in both Arabic and English, and a thorough understanding of financial regulations and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
• Prepare financial statements, budgets, and financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations.
• Conduct internal audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial policies.
• Coordinate with various departments to gather and analyze financial data.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
• Handle inquiries and provide financial information to staff and management in both Arabic and English.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an accountant, preferably within a school or university setting.
• Fluency in Arabic and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and organizational skills.
