We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Inventory and Planning Associate. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting and overseeing all aspects of inventory management, demand forecasting, and supply chain planning. Your strategic thinking and analytical skills will be crucial in optimizing inventory levels, minimizing costs, and ensuring efficient operations.

Demand Forecasting:

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to forecast inventory needs, plan strategies to optimize stock levels, ensure sufficient buffer stock, and raise orders based on goods in transit, reorder levels, and lead time from suppliers.

Inventory Workflow Process Oversight:

  • Establish and maintain a comprehensive supply chain inventory and distribution process oversight framework, including analyzing and flagging risks within the chain, and facilitating transparent communication with all stakeholders

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Provide regular reports detailing inventory levels, trends in stock discrepancies and accuracy, and the performance of demand forecasting.
  • Enhance departmental reporting and dashboards to offer comprehensive insights.

Inventory Management:

  • Monitor inventory levels and analyze demand patterns within service centers..
  • Aid in the development and monitoring of metrics tracking stock movement to minimize risks and maximize efficiency.
  • Conduct thorough inventory reconciliations with all relevant parties and deliver comprehensive reports to management within specified deadlines.
  • Support the month-end close process by preparing various inventory reports and conducting in-depth analysis.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Customer Service departments.
  • Align inventory strategies with business objectives.
  • Ensure necessary reconciliations are carried out.

Inbound & Outbound Inventory processes:

  • Coordinate Import/Export inventory: Ensure timely, secure, and compliant movement of goods by overseeing the entire supply chain, including logistics, customs clearance, and warehousing.
  • Document Processing: Manage all import/export-related documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance, including customs clearance documents, invoices, packing lists, and more
  • Cost Management: Effectively manage expenses throughout import/export movement, including tariffs, freight, and storage fees, and ensure overall cost control during all activities.
  • Be open to performing any other duty assigned by the line manager
  • Are you passionate about driving efficiency, A strong analytical mindset, exceptional attention to detail, and strategic thinking? Someone who is problem-solving and has a collaborative approach to work. Effective communication and leadership skills, along with a solid understanding of inventory management principles and supply chain best practices.
  • Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field.
  • 2 years + Proven experience in inventory management, demand planning, or supply chain management.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in using inventory management software and tools.
  • Excellent understanding of forecasting techniques, inventory control methods, and supply chain principles.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel or other data analysis tools.
  • Ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire a team
