Minimum Requirements (Likely)
Applicants should:
- Be members in good standing of the Sacco and meet all applicable governance and regulatory requirements.
- Hold relevant academic qualifications in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Law, Governance, Risk Management, Sustainability, Business Administration, Finance, Management, or related disciplines depending on the position applied for.
- Demonstrate significant professional experience in leadership, corporate governance, financial services, risk management, audit, compliance, or strategic management.
- Possess strong analytical, decision-making, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Exhibit high standards of integrity, professionalism, accountability, and ethical leadership.
- Have a good understanding of cooperative society principles, SACCO operations, and applicable regulatory frameworks.
Role-Specific Expectations
- Board Director – Information Systems Security and Cybersecurity candidates should possess expertise in cybersecurity, information security governance, technology risk management, data protection, and digital transformation.
- Board Director – Governance, Risk, Legal and Sustainability (ESG) candidates should have experience in corporate governance, enterprise risk management, legal compliance, sustainability initiatives, and ESG frameworks.
- Board Director – Member Experience and Member Service Excellence candidates should demonstrate expertise in customer experience, member engagement, service quality improvement, and stakeholder relationship management.
- Supervisory Committee – General Management candidates should possess strong governance, oversight, audit, compliance, operational review, and organizational management capabilities.
