The initiative focuses on str!ct enforcement and raising community awareness about the negative impact of begging on society and security. Teams arrested 75 men and 20 women, noting that many explo!ted the charitable spirit of people, especially worshippers.
Authorities stressed that begging for profit is !llegal and harms society’s image. Similar campaigns in Dubai have also reduced begging through awareness and legal action, protecting the city’s reputation as safe and civilized.
