The incident took place in the Al-Fuqait area during the UAE National Day holiday. Authorities confirmed that the woman has been referred to the Public Prosecution for further legal action. Fujairah Police stated that such acts vi_olate UAE laws and customs and pose a serious risk to public safety.
Officials stressed that da_ngerous behaviour during national celebrations will not be tolerated. Commander Muhammad bin Nayeh Taniji, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Fujairah Police, said strict enforcement and precautionary measures are taken to ensure the safety of the community and to keep celebrations in line with UAE values.
Earlier during the same holiday, police also arr_ested 16 young men for reckless driving and safety viol_ations across the emirate.
