The Artemis II mission lifted off from Cape Canaveral aboard the SLS rocket, carrying three American astronauts—Christina Koch, Victor Glover, Reid Wiseman—and Canadian astronaut Jeremy Hansen.
Expected to last 10 days, the mission will orbit the Moon, test Orion’s systems, and prepare for a Moon landing in 2028.
