The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) stated that legal measures have been taken against the companies involved. These firms were found signing contracts with UAE nationals without assigning actual job roles, which violates Emiratisation regulations.
The ministry reaffirmed its zero-tolerance policy toward such practices. It also highlighted that companies meeting requirements continue to receive incentives such as reduced ministry service fees, priority in government procurement, and support through the Nafis programme.
As of June 2025, over 152,000 UAE citizens were employed in the private sector. MoHRE encouraged the public to report suspected violations through its smart application, call centre, or official website.
