Completed works include six kilometres of roads in Al Khawaneej 2 with 765 parking spaces and cycling tracks, and 27 kilometres in Jebel Ali Industrial Area 1, easing heavy vehicle movement with upgraded junctions and lighting.
Major ongoing projects span Nad Al Sheba, Al Awir 1, Al Warqa’a, and Wadi Al Amardi, featuring expanded roads, signalised intersections, pedestrian walkways, cycling facilities, and modern lighting.
Once finished, these projects will directly benefit over 400,000 residents, cutting travel times by up to 80% in some areas, while enhancing links to key highways such as Emirates Road and Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road. The developments align with Dubai’s urban vision for sustainable transport and smarter mobility solutions.
