Through the Dubai Maritime Authority (DMA), visitors holding valid licences from International Maritime Organisation (IMO) member states, including GCC countries, Europe, and the US, can submit their national licence online for verification.
Once approved, they receive a local recreational boating licence to operate vessels such as speedboats and jet skis.
The initiative promotes maritime safety, professionalism, and convenience, reflecting Dubai’s commitment to providing a safe, flexible, and world-class boating environment for leisure, sports, and tourism activities.
