The Dh2.5 billion project, developed in collaboration with The Boring Company, will make Dubai the second city after Las Vegas to adopt this advanced tunnel-based transport system.
The first phase will cover 6.4 kilometres with four stations and is expected to reduce travel time between DIFC and Dubai Mall from 20 minutes to just three minutes.
Once operational, the system aims to offer fast, seamless, and efficient urban mobility across key areas of the city.
