Average highs are expected to fall from around 39°C at the start of autumn to 31°C in early November and about 25°C by the end of the season.
Winter clouds are forecast to arrive in mid-October, with the likelihood of rain increasing later in the season. Temperatures could drop to 13°C by December 22.
