The initiative also introduces extensive fee waivers for tourism establishments, including deferred payments for tourism fees, exemption from event permit and licence renewal charges, and cancellation of late fines for six months starting March 1, 2026. Exhibition fees for events organised by the Department of Tourism will also be waived.
Officials stated that the measures are designed to support businesses, improve service quality, and enhance Ajman’s overall attractiveness and livability as a growing tourism destination.
