Supervised by the Integrated Transport Centre (ITC) in partnership with Load Autonomous, the trial saw a drone equipped with a robotic arm transport a package from Al Samha to KIZAD with precision navigation.
Officials highlighted the initiative as a step toward positioning the emirate as a global hub for intelligent mobility.
Alongside the trial, Load Autonomous unveiled “Heli,” a hybrid VTOL cargo drone capable of carrying 250kg over 300km, promising faster, more efficient supply chain solutions.
