Interviews create expectations. When HR sends positive signals, candidates invest their time, effort, and emotional energy believing there is a genuine opportunity.
If a position is already reserved for someone with internal backing or connections, bringing others in just to โtick the process boxโ is misleading and unfair. It creates false hope and wastes peopleโs time.
This is not professionalism. Itโs unethical.
Hiring should be transparent and honest. If the decision is already made, donโt sell hope you have no intention of delivering. less
