If you are actively seeking employment, whether you are currently employed, unemployed, self-employed, Fresh University Graduate, Grades 10 or 12 Graduate, School Leaver or a Student who is taking a break from studies.
Please take note of the below.
1. When you are applying for a particular job, you are also competing with hundreds and even thousands of other applicants.
2. The Recruiter will go through ALL the applications and screen your CV against what is stated in the Advertisement that was posted.
3. It is important that when you are trying to apply for a job, please go through the Advertisement carefully and make sure your qualifications and experiences match what is on the Advertisement before you apply.
4. Note that when you are applying for a job, you have a 50/50 chance of being shortlisted for interviews. You might get shortlisted or not.
5. Just because you don’t get shortlisted doesn’t mean you give up, “Don’t put ALL your eggs in one basket”, meaning do not just apply to one company apply anywhere and everywhere that piques your interest.
6. Please don’t take it personally when you get an unsuccessful response from the company you are applying to. Look at rejection as redirection.
7. Make sure your CV is updated to the most recent qualification, training or job you have before applying for any job. Also ensure your contact details (Phone Numbers and email address) are current also those of your referees. Having a well put together CV makes a world of a difference. On your CV be sure to list the roles/responsibilities you undertook in a particular role and include thes date (day, month & year) you commenced work and date you completed work for a particular company.
