Microsoft has officially rolled out Windows 11’s Vision Pro-like remote desktop feature for Meta Quest 3 and Quest 3S users. This update lets you beam multiple high-resolution monitors into your VR workspace or switch to an ultrawide curved display—just like Apple’s Vision Pro experience. The immersive setup transforms how you work remotely, allowing users to view and control their Windows PC directly inside a virtual environment.
To get started, users must download the Mixed Reality Link app on their Windows PC. Once installed, simply connect your Quest 3 or Quest 3S headset, look at your keyboard, and select “pair.” Within seconds, your desktop appears inside your headset—offering full control and seamless multitasking in a 3D workspace. This feature arrives with Meta’s Horizon OS v81 update, expanding Windows’ productivity ecosystem into VR.
This new integration is a major step toward blending Windows productivity with spatial computing. With Meta and Microsoft’s collaboration, Quest 3 owners can now turn any space into a virtual workstation. It’s ideal for professionals who want multiple monitors on the go, gamers streaming their PC titles in VR, or creatives seeking a distraction-free digital environment.
