Job Description
The Academic Registrar supports the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic, Research and Innovation) in administration of academic and research functions. Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating programmes, syllabi, academic rules, and research regulations.
- Supervising assessment of University and national examinations.
- Preparing teaching and examination timetables.
- Serving as secretary to Senate committees on academics and student matters.
- Guiding Deans, Directors, and Department Chairs in programme management.
- Preparing divisional performance contract reports.
- Overseeing student welfare services and maintaining accurate student databases.
