Africa Under-18 javelin silver medalist Caroline Onyango managed a personal best of 45:45m to finish fourth in the ongoing Africa junior championships in Zambia.

Her previous personal best was 42m.

In the 4x400 mixed relay, the trio of the two record breakers Josephat Sang and Nancy Cherop partnered with Janet Chepkoech and Kelvin Kimutai to secure a slot in the finals set to be the last event of the Club Youth Games.

In the 800m heats, Kenya had two females Janet Chepkoech and Daisy Chepngetich making it to the finals.

Captain Amos Kipkemoi missed out in the men's category due to injury.

In the second heat, Kelvin Kinutai dominated finishing first and booking a ticket in the finals set for tomorrow.

In the quarter finals of the ladies beach volleyball, Abigail and Sharon lost their first game 2-0 against Canada.

The duo is set to face New Zealand in the fight for the Bronze medal position.
