Because the output is built from your personal archive, it feels less like a generic AI toy and more like an intimate impersonation.

That impression is the point of the feature. Meta frames Muse as a creative tool, but its most striking quality is how convincingly it extends your own visual identity into fabricated scenes. The result is a feature that users find hard to dismiss as harmless fun, even when they cannot quite explain why it unsettles them.

Why This Matters More Than Surveillance Fears
