He emphasized that India's fertiliser supply has been strengthened through domestic production and imports from various countries. Additionally, the country has managed to cope with energy shocks and uncertainties arising from conflicts in West Asia. Panagariya noted that if Ukraine's exports decline, demand for Indian food products might increase.
