Grok Bot Launches Always-On AI Agents for macOS and iOS

SpaceXAI has unveiled Grok Bot, a new AI-powered assistant designed to work as an always-on agent across macOS and iOS devices. Unlike conventional tools that require building complex workflows, Grok Bot aims to complete tasks through simple chat messages, operating in the cloud so jobs continue even when the laptop is closed.

What Grok Bot Can Do

Grok Bot is integrated with Cursor, the AI coding company SpaceX is acquiring for $60 billion. Subscribers can send a message from their phone or desktop app in natural language, and the bot handles the rest. It can sign into websites, including those without APIs, though specifics about authentication remain undisclosed.

Users can run multiple bots in parallel, with one managing others and specialists assigned to different tasks. Bots can also join group chats where they coordinate, pass work, and assign ownership, only involving the user for judgment calls.

One notable feature is the ability to teach Grok Bot workflows. By observing a task, the bot saves the routine and can later execute it independently. Over time, bots learn and may eventually start working before being asked.

Examples and Availability

SpaceXAI provides examples such as a sales bot updating CRM with call notes, an ops bot onboarding new hires and processing invoices in Gmail, and an engineering bot reproducing bugs and filing tickets.

Grok Bot is currently in beta for SuperGrok Heavy, Cursor Ultra, and Cursor Teams Premium subscribers on macOS and iOS. Enterprise users can join a waitlist for future access. Due to the political nature of the topic, discussion is restricted to a forum with a 100-post minimum.
