When users search for select services, such as a nearby pet groomer or auto shop, they’ll now see an option to let AI make the call. Google’s assistant will then ask a few follow-up questions—like the type of pet or car service you need, preferred schedule, and how you want to get updates (via email or SMS). After collecting that data, it places the call using Google's Duplex technology, powered by Gemini. Once done, it delivers the business's response directly to you.
