French students looking for protests 'to become a major movement'

Tens of thousands of demonstrators marched in cities across France on Tuesday in support of protests by school pupils demanding more education funding, increasing pressure on the government of outgoing President Emmanuel Macron. With teachers and trade unions joining the march, the students are seeking to turn the protests into a "major social movement" to increase pressure on the government, says France 24's Marc Perelman.
