CNN All Access will give streaming cable news another try, for $6.99 a month, starting October 28th, 2025. The new service aims to combine live global coverage, exclusive on-demand shows, and digital articles into one affordable subscription, signaling CNN’s renewed push into the streaming market.
The new CNN All Access plan launches in the US on October 28th, 2025, at $6.99 per month or $69.99 annually. Early subscribers who join by January 5th, 2026, can grab a special introductory price of $41.99 for the first year. This marks CNN’s most ambitious streaming comeback since the short-lived CNN Plus, which was shut down just a month after launch in 2022.
Unlike CNN Plus, CNN All Access promises much more value. Subscribers will get:
Access to select US and international live programming
Over 1,000 hours of CNN Originals
Video-on-demand content and exclusive live events
The latest CNN Original Series and CNN Films, available the day after they air on TV
Full access to CNN.com’s premium articles and subscriber-only content
While the platform doesn’t include a live CNN cable feed, it’s packed with more flexible viewing options for cord-cutters. The goal is to offer a deeper, more interactive digital experience rather than replicate traditional TV.
CNN confirmed that current Pay TV subscribers will get free access to All Access, though this won’t include CNN.com’s subscriber articles. For digital readers, CNN’s Basic tier ($3.99/month)—launched last October—remains available for article access only.
This launch follows internal memos shared by CEO Mark Thompson, signaling a strong strategic push toward digital transformation. With the media industry increasingly leaning into subscription-based models, CNN All Access will give streaming cable news another try, hoping to capture audiences seeking credible, flexible, and affordable news content.
