How does Amazon’s AI recap feature work?
Amazon’s new AI recap tool is built on its Bedrock model. When you select “Video Recap” on an eligible show, the AI analyzes previous episodes, identifies key plot points, and stitches together a short three-minute summary. This helps viewers quickly refresh their memory between seasons without watching entire past episodes.
Which shows are included in the AI recap trial?
The trial is currently limited to select Prime Video originals. While Amazon hasn’t released a full list, early reports suggest popular series are first in line for the AI-generated recaps. The company plans to expand the feature if feedback is positive and the AI performs reliably.
