Hail fell across parts of Ras Al Khaimah on January 26, as unstable weather conditions affected the emirate, with residents reporting thunderstorms, heavy rainfall and hailstones during intense downpours.
Hailstones described by residents as being roughly the size of golf balls, falling alongside torrential rain and frequent lightning, marking one of the most severe winter weather events in the emirate this season.
