Every year on November 3, the UAE proudly celebrates Flag Day, honouring the moment when Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan became President.
The flag, a symbol of unity and pride, was designed by a 19-year-old Emirati, Abdulla Mohammed Al Maainah, who created it just days before the competition deadline.
His all-night effort gave birth to the nation’s most iconic emblem.
