An Al Ain court ordered a man to pay Dh15,000 in compensation to a woman he insulted with offensive language, following his earlier conviction in a related criminal case.

The court stressed that UAE law requires offenders to compensate victims for moral and psychological harm.

The woman originally sought Dh51,000 in damages after suffering emotional pain directly resulting from the defendant's proven misconduct.
