Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Pakistan have formalised a new mutual defence agreement under the Mecca Joint Defence Agreement, establishing a collective response if any member comes under armed attack.
The three countries say the partnership is designed to deepen military cooperation and reinforce long-term regional security coordination.
