Today, I scheduled a final interview and instead of defaulting to “This is the format,” I simply asked:
“Would you prefer Teams or in person?
The team is flexible. I want to make sure you’re comfortable.”

Such a small question… but it makes a huge difference.
Candidates are balancing current jobs, school runs, life admin, and nerves. A little flexibility can turn an interview from something stressful into something respectful.

And here’s the truth:
How you treat people during the hiring process reflects your company culture long before they sign an offer.
Flexibility isn’t a favour, it’s basic humanity.
