Dubai has introduced new public safety laws effective June 1, imposing stricter regulations for public venues, events, and beaches.

Fines range from AED500 ($136) to AED1 million ($272,000), with repeat violations within a year attracting penalties of up to AED2 million.

The regulations require safe entry and exit routes, adequate lighting, capacity limits, firefighting equipment, emergency evacuation plans, first aid facilities, and trained security personnel.

Access to restricted areas, explosives, fireworks, and hazardous materials is strictly prohibited. The law underscores Dubai’s commitment to public safety and organized event management across the emirate.
