Dubai Police’s traditional Iftar Cannon has become a major highlight of Ramadan, attracting families and visit

Dubai Police’s traditional Iftar Cannon has become a major highlight of Ramadan, attracting families and visitors across the city.

Fixed cannons at JBR, Burj Khalifa, Damac Hills, Expo City, Dubai Festival City, and Vida Creek Harbour, along with the mobile cannon “Al Rahal” touring 17 locations, signal the time for iftar and revive a cherished Emirati tradition.

Residents capture photos and enjoy the festive atmosphere as the cannon firing strengthens community bonds and preserves Arab and Islamic customs. For children and adults alike, the sound of the cannon creates memorable, emotional Ramadan moments.
