The UAE has introduced its first road-rail ambulance, built by Naffco, to improve emergency medical access in remote desert regions.

Equipped with an innovative rail gear system inspired by locomotive engines, the ambulance can lift its tires and run directly on railway tracks.

Complying with American ambu_lance standards, it is fully equipped with stretchers, AEDs, ventilators, oxygen systems, and essential medical supplies.

The ambulance aligns with the expanding UAE–Saudi rail network, enhancing cross-border emergency response capabilities.

Locally manufactured, it combines efficiency, safety, and rapid deployment to reach patients in otherwise inaccessible areas.
