Disney CEO Bob Iger shared photos on Instagram, captioning them: “Walking the site of what will one day be Disneyland Abu Dhabi! Lots of work ahead, but all very exciting!”

One image shows a small jetty, matching a structure on the northern edge of Yas Island, suggesting the park’s exact location.

Announced in May 2025, Disneyland Abu Dhabi will be the seventh Disney resort and the first in the Middle East, marking a major expansion of Disney’s global footprint.
