The White House’s official X account shared an AI-generated image showing President Donald Trump walking toward Greenland’s flag alongside a penguin carrying the U.S. flag, despite penguins not living in Greenland. The post was captioned, “Embrace the penguin,” and quickly drew attention online.

The image surfaced days after President Trump, speaking at the World Economic Forum in Davos, once again pushed for the U.S. to take over Greenland, citing “national security” and claiming he has a “framework” and “concept of a deal” for the Danish territory.
