Dense morning fog disrupted operations at Dubai International Airport (DXB) on Thursday, forcing 19 inbound flights to be diverted to nearby airports.

Visibility in some areas dropped below 500 metres, affecting flight schedules, ground handling, and aircraft movements.

Dubai Airports urged passengers to check their flight status directly with airlines before heading to the airport.

Sharjah Airport also innformed travellers of possible delays and cancellations due to the unstable weather and advised confirming flight details in advance to avoid inconvenience.
