Sudanese publishing houses will be exempted from participation fees at the 44th Sharjah International Book Fair (SIBF), following directives from Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Ruler of Sharjah.

Sheikha Bodour bint Sultan Al Qasimi, Chairperson of Sharjah Book Authority, emphasized that supporting Arab publishers in challenging circumstances is key to preserving culture and knowledge.

The initiative aims to strengthen Sudanese cultural presence and promote inclusivity in Arab book fairs.

The current edition of SIBF concludes on Saturday, November 15, 2025, continuing Sharjah’s commitment to empowering creators and safeguarding Arab heritage.
