Sharjah Police has launched a three-day initiative to provide free replacement vehicle number plates for elderly residents and people with disabilities whose plates were lost during recent adverse weather.

The service allows eligible residents to request home delivery of replacement plates via the police contact centre by calling 901, eliminating the need to visit service centres.

The Vehicles and Drivers Licensing Department will handle issuance, printing, and delivery directly to homes.

This initiative highlights Sharjah’s focus on community-oriented services, ensuring convenience, safety, and efficiency during exceptional weather events while supporting residents in need.
