Dubai’s road network has now been fully restored after the recent severe weather, according to the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA).

Officials confirmed that all major roads and key areas are back to normal, with only minor issues that were resolved quickly. The RTA said it prepared in advance by installing extra drainage systems, pumps, retention ponds, and smart sensors to manage rainwater effectively.

More than 380 pumps, 500 water tankers, and 100 emergency vehicles were deployed, supported by around 1,300 staff. The quick recovery reflects Dubai’s strong emergency planning and infrastructure readiness during challenging weather conditions.
