Dr. Abhishek Mitra, MBBS, MS, MCh, is a Consultant in GI and HPB Cancer Surgery at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, Delhi, with over 20 years of experience. He completed his post-doctoral fellowship in GI and HPB Oncology at Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai. His expertise includes complex surgery for cancers of the oesophagus, stomach, liver, gallbladder, pancreas, colon and rectum, using open, advanced laparoscopic and robotic techniques. His approach emphasizes evidence-based, patient-focused cancer care and multidisciplinary treatment planning.
