About Me
I am a compliance and regulatory professional who enjoys building structured, reliable, and audit-ready systems to manage risk, compliance, and reporting. I am a Professional Member of BCS (MBCS), demonstrating my commitment to high standards in information governance, data protection, and ethical IT practice. I have done this using Excel and Power BI to design dashboards, trackers, and KPI frameworks, applying SQL to query, validate, and analyse governance, incident, and compliance datasets, and using Python to clean data and automate reporting workflows. I work with GitHub to version-control templates, scripts, and documentation, ensuring consistency and scalability of business and governance systems. Alongside this, I collaborate closely with legal, operational, and public-sector stakeholders, translating complex regulatory and data requirements into clear, practical actions, communicating risk with clarity, and building trust through structured processes, evidence-based recommendations, and careful handling of sensitive information. Currently preparing for Microsoft Azure AI Fundamentals (AI-900) to strengthen applied AI literacy for governance and compliance workflows. Alongside my GRC career, I am experienced as a freelance/contract Talent Acquisition Consultant for multiple clients. These were structured, paid projects where I handled sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
