I have 18 years of experience in the accounting profession and currently employed as an Accountant by Antoh Decor Enterprise Ltd where my roles include;
1. Posting journal and ledger entries
2. Management of accounts receivables and payables
3. Issuance of monthly statements to respective debtors and follow up on payments, process payments to respective creditors upon reconciliation of their accounts
4. Preparation of monthly reconciliation statements which include, bank reconciliation statements, accounts receivables and payables reconciliations.
5. Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements which include tax returns and remittance of payroll byproducts to relevant authorities
6. Preparation of trial balance and financial statements which include; balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement and statement of changes in equity
7. Assisting in audit of financial statements for preparation of audited accounts
8. Ensuring budgeting and budgetary control measures are adhered to by regularly reviewing expenditures
9. Advising management based on the periodic trends of financial reports
