About Me
I am a seasoned trainer with over 10 years of experience working with rural communities in Kenya to improve their livelihood and nutritional status. Experienced food safety, aquaculture and development social risk management expert with a demonstrated history of working in the public sector, as well as private consultancy. Skilled in Microsoft office, molecular biology techniques, English, quality and safe handing and management of food, business plan and grant proposal writing. Strong professional with a Master's Degree focused in Medical Biochemistry from Kenyatta University. I have been able to train and help organize a group of rural fish farmers in Kiambu county Kenya to form a cooperative society thereby helping them increase their bargaining power. I also successfully helped a Self Help Group of inhabitants living near a forest to write a fish farming project grant proposal to a local state organization, which was funded and this stopped encroaching of the forest by the inhabitants as a result of getting an alternative source of livelihood.
