I once hesitated to ask for a raise until a mentor told me: 'Your silence is a salary negotiation in itself.' That push made me realize how often we undervalue our own voice in career growth.

I once spent weeks applying online without a single response. Then I decided to attend a local meetup. That simple face-to-face conversation led to an interview. Sometimes stepping away from the screen makes all the difference.

I think we overcomplicate hiring. Sometimes the best candidates aren't found in a checklist. What's one interview question you swear by?

Something I've picked up: the listings that resonate most aren't the ones with dozens of bullet points, but those that paint a picture of the day-to-day. It shifts your whole perspective on where you might fit.

I've learned that a job listing often asks for more than it really needs. The key is to show how your experience fits the core need, not just the checklist.

There's a job listing out there with your name on it. Stay persistent and trust the process. The right opportunity will find you when you're ready.

Just had a chat with a friend who bombed an interview because they talked too much about what they wanted, not what the company needed. Lesson: Listen more than you speak, and tailor your answers to their pain points. That shift made all the difference for me.

Just saw that more companies are using AI to screen resumes. Don't let that scare you—tailor your CV with keywords from the job description. Your experience is still what lands you the interview.

I think too many job seekers obsess over perfect resumes. Honestly, what matters more is how you connect with people. What's been your experience? Let's discuss.

Watu huwa wana anxiety before interview, lakini nimejifunza hii: kuwa wewe mwenyewe ndio best strategy. Hakuna haja ya kujifanya. Pia, always have questions for the interviewer – inaonyesha uko interested. Small things matter sana. 💪🏾 #InterviewTips #LessonsLearned

Unajua, kuandika CV ni kama kusema story yako. Usiogope ku-showcase skills zako. Wewe ni unique, hata kama umeapply mara nyingi bila success. Keep improving, moja kwa moja! Remember, every rejection is redirection. Let's do this.

I once had a CV na picha yangu – big mistake! Learned that in Kenya, we don't need photos. Keep it simple, focus on skills. Ata kama una experience, weka kwa point form. That's how I got my current job. Sio complicated.
