I am Cliffe China Nabwana—a visionary filmmaker, animator, and creative director driven by the belief that powerful storytelling can reshape narratives and transform societies. With a multifaceted background spanning film production, 2D/3D animation, visual design, and user experience, I bring a holistic approach to the art and business of visual communication.
My journey began with a simple curiosity: How can we use images and motion to make people feel, think, and act? This question has guided my work across industries and mediums, from developing educational animations and user-centered app interfaces, to leading creative campaigns for festivals, startups, and cultural brands. I thrive at the intersection of technology and art—where imagination meets execution, and vision becomes impact.
Over the years, I’ve cultivated a broad skill set grounded in storytelling, design thinking, and strategic creativity. I’ve had the privilege of working with clients across Kenya and beyond, helping brands, organizations, and communities tell their stories with clarity, authenticity, and resonance. I’m also deeply passionate about mentoring emerging creatives and building platforms that elevate African voices—particularly through Brio Studios, my current venture focused exclusively on animation.
