I’m Leonard Valongo Alpex, from Kenya and I’m excited to share a bit about myself. I hold a diploma in Purchasing and Supplies Management, which has laid a solid foundation for my career in warehouse logistics and procurement. With over 17 years of experience in the field, I have developed a comprehensive understanding of supply chain operations, inventory management, and procurement processes.
Have held significant roles in the industry, most notably serving as the Warehouse and Branch Manager at Gilanis Distributors Ltd in Mombasa. Have demonstrated strong leadership and operational skills, effectively managing warehouse operations while ensuring efficient supply chain processes.
My areas of expertise include inventory management, strategic sourcing, and logistics optimization, making me well-equipped to handle the complexities of modern supply chains. In addition to my professional skills, I have a variety of hobbies that may include activities related to logistics and supply chain trends, as well as interests that promote personal growth and well-being.
I’m truly passionate about logistics and supply chain management. I find great satisfaction in finding innovative solutions to streamline processes and improve service delivery. I thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy the challenges that come with maintaining operational excellence.
In terms of key skills, I am proficient in inventory control systems, data analysis, and strategic procurement. My ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams has been instrumental in driving successful outcomes in my past roles.
