Managed the end-to-end Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) processes for the Canned Fruit and Baby Categories as a Sales and Operations Planning Manager for 5.5 years. Collaborated effectively with Category Executives and cross-functional teams, led S&OP cycle meetings, and provided insightful analysis on sales, production, inventory levels, and financial performance.
Additionally, conducted operational planning for both categories, demonstrating exceptional proficiency not only in S&OP process coordination but also in tactical and strategic planning. Formulated and sustained operational plans for the annual intake of 120,000 tons of fresh fruit for the Canned Fruit portfolio, and the Baby Category's annual production of 9.4 million cases. *Awarded Employee of the Year in September 2015 within the Canned Fruit Category, for significantly improving demand and production planning.
Established and managed the planning department for the Beverage Division during a 7-year tenure as the Master Planner (now S&OP Manager). Effectively planned a diverse portfolio of 108 million litres annually, navigating the complexities of a highly seasonal and short shelf-life environment. *Achieved successes such as elevating service levels from below 80% to consistently above 90%, while reducing finished goods inventory by 50%.
Led as the Supply Chain Coordinator for the Jarred Baby Food Manufacturing Unit for 3 years, managing procurement, planning, raw material and packaging inventory, as well as warehouse operations. Realized a monthly production output of 7 million jarred baby food bottles through successful collaboration with the Unit Management team. *Accomplished a 42% reduction in the year-end RM & PM inventory value for 2004 compared to the prior year.
Expertly contributed to the success of project implementations, including an Advanced Planning System (ERP) for the Beverage Division (Project Lead), a 3PL service provider change, and manufacturing plant consolidation. Co-presented with ToolsGroup at the SAPICS conference in Jun 2010, providing valuable insights into advanced planning systems from a user's perspective.
