Barabara SACCO was established on July 1, 2011, as a Savings and Credit Co-operative Society to provide tailored financial services to employees of the Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA). Recognizing the need for broader financial inclusion, the SACCO expanded its membership criteria in 2019, allowing individuals from other organizations to join.
