Job Title: Healthcare Instructor / Clinical Educator
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced healthcare professional to join our training institution as a Healthcare Instructor. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality instruction, mentor students, and ensure alignment with healthcare assistant and nursing aide curricula. This role requires a blend of clinical expertise, teaching experience, and a passion for student success.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver theoretical and practical training in nursing, community health, and clinical care.
- Supervise students during practical and clinical attachments, providing constructive feedback.
- Develop and update lesson plans, training materials, and assessments in line with curriculum standards.
- Mentor and support students to achieve learning outcomes and professional growth.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
- Collaborate with academic and clinical teams to ensure a cohesive learning experience.
- Stay current with best practices in healthcare education and clinical procedures.
Qualifications
- Certificate, Diploma, Higher Diploma, or Degree in Nursing, Community Health, Health Care Assistance, Clinical Medicine, Public Health, or a related healthcare field.
- At least 1–2 years of teaching, training, mentoring, or healthcare practice experience.
- Experience working in hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, healthcare facilities, or training institutions.
- Experience supervising students during practical and clinical attachments is an added advantage.
- Good understanding of healthcare assistant and nursing aide curricula.
