Description:
We are currently hiring a highly experienced Senior Azure Cloud Engineer to join a leading technology team in Abu Dhabi. This role is designed for a cloud expert with over a decade of experience who is passionate about designing enterprise-grade cloud ecosystems and leading large-scale digital transformation initiatives.

This position is ideal for a technical leader who can align complex cloud infrastructure with strategic business objectives while delivering secure, scalable, and future-ready Azure solutions.

The Role:
As a Senior Lead Azure Engineer, you will play a critical role in shaping cloud strategy and execution, including:

• Architecting and designing enterprise-level Azure solutions with a strong focus on availability, security, and alignment with the Microsoft Well-Architected Framework
• Leading full-scale modernization initiatives, including migration from legacy on-premise systems to Azure-native platforms such as AKS, Serverless, and PaaS services
• Promoting and implementing a code-first mindset by leveraging Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Bicep, along with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
• Establishing governance standards through Azure Landing Zones, Entra ID identity governance, and FinOps-driven cost optimization practices
• Designing and securing hybrid connectivity solutions using ExpressRoute, VPNs, and zero-trust security architectures

Requirements:

• A minimum of 12 years of overall IT experience, including at least 8 years of deep, hands-on expertise with Microsoft Azure
• Strong command of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), Kubernetes (AKS), Azure networking, and cloud security tools such as Defender for Cloud
• Mandatory proficiency in Arabic or a European language
• Ability and willingness to work on-site in Abu Dhabi
• Microsoft certifications such as AZ-305 (Azure Solutions Architect) or AZ-400 (DevOps Engineer) are highly preferred
